By 2050 the heat of the sun may be reduced. This is said in a new study. Scientists at the University of California at San Diego, based on the coolness of the solar cycle, recently thought that the sun would be seven percent cooler than decades. Because they think, ‘Grand Minimam’ situation will take just a few decades to come.
The study, published in the Chicago-based journal Astrophysical Journal Letters, also said that the Grand Minimum is extremely low-level solar activity, which reduces the temperature of the Earth.
It is to be noted that during the mid-17th century, due to the Grand Minimum named Mundar Minimam, the temperature of the earth had decreased greatly, which was enough to make the water of the Thames river freezing.
