Israel has launched a major attack aimed at Hamas’s establishment in Palestinian Gaza Valley governing Islamist outfit. Two killed and 12 wounded in this.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said it was their biggest attack after the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza in 2014. The attack was carried out in response to a rocket attack in Israel from the Gaza Strip. If necessary, further attacks will be conducted. But Palestine says there is a ceasefire between the two countries.
The Israeli Defense Force said the attacks were carried out targeting Hamas’s training camp in Al-Shati refugee camp in north-eastern Gaza, Hamas training camps in Beit Lahiya and headquarters of Baitalay, targeting Hamas buildings.
Netanyahu said in a video statement that negotiations with the Defense Minister, Chief of Staff and Top Security Commands have been decided to take further action against Hamas’s terrorist activities.
Eyewitnesses told Reuters, Israel launched an attack on an empty building in Gaza City. The casualties are all pedestrians.
