“Gold price rose” Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BASJUS) has decided to increase the price of gold to the highest market price of Tk 1,400 by raising the price in the international market.
This information was given in a press release on Wednesday. The new rate of gold will be effective from Monday, the release said.
According to the new price, 11.664 grams of 22 carat gold 49 thousand 339 rupees, 21 carats 47 thousand 123 rupees and 18 carat gold will be sold at 41,874 taka. And the traditional method of standing gold will stand 25 thousand 661.
Bazus General Secretary Dilip Kumar Agarwala said in the circular that till Sunday (11.664 grams) 22 carat gold 47 thousand 939 rupees, 21 carats 45 thousand 723 rupees and 18 carat gold was sold at Tk. 40, 474. And the traditional method of gold is sold at a price of 24 thousand 786.
As per the revision of the gold rate, it will increase to Tk 1,400 by 22, 21 and 18 carats and the traditional method will increase by 875 rupees.
However, silver prices remain unchanged. Every rupee silver is sold at Tk. 1,550.
